Okotoks Basketball is excited to announce that our Tykes registration is now open for Spring 2025. We will be offering both a Jr. and Sr. option for Tykes that will begin on May 1st and run for 8 weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to registration numbers we will be combining the Jr. and Sr. Tykes into one group for the spring session

Program Cost: $150 for 8 - 60 minute sessions with each player receiving a Tykes tshirt and basketball

Program Location & Times: Big Rock School on Thursday evenings from 5:15-6:15pm

Program Options:

                         Jr./Sr. Tykes - This program is for players ages 6-8 that are brand new or have some previous experience with basketball

Program Description: All sessions will be led by Coach Jordan and each group will be split into teams as we introduce skills, drills and game play throughout each session with a focus on teaching the FUNdamentals of basketball. Whether your child is brand new to the game, or a basketball fanatic, they will learn basketball skills, game play which will use the 3X3 format, this improves development and fosters more fun games. The focus of the Tykes program is designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship and a love for the game of basketball.

We are looking for additional parent coaches to assist with our weekly sessions. If you are interested in getting involved as a coach please indicate this in your registration.
