We are excited to get things started this week with evaluations for our U18 Boys and Girls. As we get started, please review the schedule below carefully to ensure you know when your first Evaluation day is.
All Evaluations will take place at Meadow Ridge School

During evaluations we are asking everyone to access the gym from the North parking lot. There is a door with direct access to the gym and this is where we will be set up for player check-in. Please do not try to access the school from any other door.
The gym will not be accessible until 10 minutes before the first session each night. If you arrive early please wait outside the school until 6:20pm.
The schedule below shows when each age group will evaluate. The first evaluation for all age groups is based on your last name, except U11 Boys, U11 Girls and U13 Girls which are all athletes. Please pay close attention to which session you should be attending. The second evaluation for all age groups is based on scores from the 1st evaluation and an email will be sent indicating if you are to return for Group A or B. Please note, currently the U11 Boys, U11 Girls and U13 Girls only have one session scheduled we may add a second session if it is necessary.
All players are required to bring indoor shoes, a basketball, and a water bottle. As a reminder all athletes should wear basketball/gym shorts for evaluations to enable their number to be written on their calf.

Age Divisions Details:
U11-U15 Boys/Girls - Early registration cost for the Fall/Winter program is $575 plus a $160 pre-authorized uniform deposit that will only be charged if your uniform is not returned at the end of the season. Each player will also receive OBA swag at evaluations. Teams practice twice weekly in Okotoks and League Games will be played in Calgary beginning in October. The season will run from mid-September until early March.
U18 Boys/Girls - Early registration cost for the Fall/Winter program is $325 plus a $160 pre-authorized uniform deposit that will only be charged if your uniform is not returned at the end of the season. Each player will also receive OBA swag at evaluations. Teams practice twice weekly in Okotoks and League Games will be played in Calgary beginning in September. The season will run from early September until mid-November. This is a shorter season due to High School Basketball beginning in late November. We do offer a Winter season for U18 Boys/Girls for those who do not make a school team that runs from January until early March. The Winter season does have a separate registration that will happen in December.
Important Season Details:
The season will start with evaluations for all age divisions in September. Evaluations will be held for each age level to ensure players are placed on teams with players of similar skill. Upon completion of evaluations, teams will be formed and begin practices at the end of September.
Evaluation details will be posted prior to the close of registration on Sept. 1st
We are working on the details of our Fall Tykes program for players ages 6-8 and will post more information as it becomes available. Registration for this will open at the end of August.
