Registration for Tykes Fall 2025 will open August 15th!!
Okotoks Basketball is excited to announce that our Tykes registration will open August 15th for Fall 2025. We will be offering both a Jr. and Sr. option for Tykes that will begin October and run for 8 weeks.
Program Cost: $150 for 8 - 60 minute sessions with each player receiving a Tykes tshirt and basketball
Program Location & Times: Big Rock School on Monday evenings from 5:15-6:15pm
JR TYKES MONDAYS 5:15-6:15 @ BIG ROCK
SR TYKES MONDAYS 6:30-7:30 @ BIG ROCK
Program Options:
Jr. Tykes - This program is intended for players ages 6-8 that are brand new to basketball
Sr. Tykes - This program is intended for players ages 7-8 that have previous experience with basketball
Each week, our goal is to create a fun, energetic, and positive environment where kids learn the fundamentals of basketball while developing teamwork and confidence.
Every session will include:
- Group warm-ups to get everyone moving
- Fun big group games to build core skills
- Small team drills & competitions at the hoops
- Scrimmages so players can try out what they’ve learned in a game setting
This program is focused on fun, learning, and growth perfect for our youngest hoopers!
We are looking for additional parent coaches to assist with our weekly sessions. If you are interested in getting involved as a coach please indicate this in your registration.
